How to Delete AVG Secure Browser Completely?

Do you want to delete AVG secure browsers from your device? Read the proper procedure here to delete it on your Windows and Mac devices. 

On Windows

• First you need to right-click on the Windows Start button and then choose the "Apps and Features" option. 

• Now, select the AVG Secure Browser, then select Uninstall twice to move forward.

• When you see a User Account Control prompt requesting permission, click Yes. 

• Click on the box next to Also Delete your Browsing Data and select the Uninstall button. 

• After that, wait for a while to let the uninstallation process complete. 

• Once you get the Uninstallation Complete page, close the window.

• However, in case the uninstallation process is unsuccessful, download the AVG Secure Browser Uninstall tool from the official website.

• Then, you should right-click on the downloaded file and click on the Run as administrator option. 

• When the User Account Control prompt shows-up on the screen then select the Yes button. 

• Select "Yes" when prompted to restart Windows in Safe Mode, then click "Yes" again to proceed.

• Alternatively you can check the box next to 'Also delete your browsing data' and click 'Uninstall.'

• Now, let the uninstallation process finish. 

On Mac

• First you need to ensure that the AVG program is not running in the background; if the program is running then control-click the AVG icon on the dock and click Quit.

• Next head to the Menu bar, click Go, and select Applications.

• Control click once again on the AVG browser icon and then click on “Move to Trash.”

• Also, go to the Trash icon and choose the Empty Trash option.
