How to Turn Off the AVG Firewall?

Turn Off Protection

• Select the expand arrow on the right side of the taskbar.

• Then, click on the AVG antivirus icon. 

• On the AVG window toggle off the “Protection” option at the top.

• Choose the OK Stop to disable all shields.

Disable Firewall Options

• Go to your AVG Antivirus application.

• Move to the Basic Protection section and double-click on the Computer tile.

• After that, you need to turn off the File Shield, select a period, and click the OK Stop button.

• Then, turn off the Behavior Shield, select a period, and click on the OK Stop button.

• Go to the Ransomware Protection, turn off the toggle, select a period, and click on the OK Stop button.

• Head to the main window and double-click the Web & Email tile.

• Now, disable the Web Shield, select a period, and click the OK Stop button.

• Also, you need to turn off the Email Shield, select a period, and click the OK Stop button. 

Disable Enhanced Firewall

• Open your AVG program. 

• Select and expand the Menu on the top-right.

• Then go to Settings. 

• Choose "Full Protection" in the sidebar and select "Enhanced Firewall."

• From the Enhanced Firewall section, toggle the switch off.

• Choose the duration for which you want the protection to be disabled.

• Finally, the process will be complete.
