Slow PC After Installing Bitdefender? Here Are Few Fixes

On some devices, you can see the system working slowly after installing the Bitdefender program. If you are facing the same problem, then here are some solutions you can try to get your PC working perfectly once again.

Method 1: Remove Other Antivirus Programs

. Click on the Windows search menu, type in the Control Panel, and open it.

. Next, set View By to Large Icons in the open window.

. Choose the Programs and Features option, click on the other security program, and click Uninstall.

. In addition, uninstall all the other antivirus programs.

. When the process is complete, close the window and restart the system.

Method 2: Disable Unused Programs

. First, right-click on the Windows menu and choose the Task Manager.

. Go to the Status tab, and it’ll display the list of enabled applications.

. From the open list, look for any application you do not use, right-click on it, and select Disable.

. You need to turn off all unwanted applications in that folder.

. Once that process is complete, close the window.

Method 3: Run Disk Defragmentation

. First, go to the Windows search icon, then search and open the Defragment and Optimize Drives app.

. Choose the drive and click Optimize.

. Now, you should wait for it to analyze and defrag the drive.

. This process will take a couple of minutes.

. When the process is complete, you can close the window.
