How to Troubleshoot ESET Antivirus Installation Issue?

The ESET program can be downloaded on any device and provides multi-layered security for your device. However, due to some reasons, you can face the issue during the installation of the driver even if the device is compatible. In this case, you can use the methods below to see if you are able to troubleshoot the issue.

Method 1: Reinstall the ESET Antivirus Program

. Choose the Windows search button, search Control Panel, and open it.

. Click Programs, then select Programs and Features.

. In addition, scroll and locate ESET security, select it, and click Change.

. When the ESET Security Setup window pops up, click Next, then select Remove.

. Select Remove again, and it’ll start uninstalling.

. When the process is complete, select Finish to exit the Setup wizard.

. After that, download the software and try to install it.

Method 2: Check for Windows Update

. Select the Windows start button and go to Settings.

. Next, head to Windows Update and click Check for Updates.

. In case there’s an update available, it’ll start downloading the update.

. When the update is complete, you need to restart the system.

Method 3: Disable Windows Defender Firewall

. Firstly, right-click on the Windows Start button and select Settings.

. Choose Update & Security, and then click on Windows Security.

. Select Virus & Threat Protection and scroll down to select Manage Settings under Virus & Threat Protection Settings.

. You should disable the Real-time Protection and close the window.

. Now, check if your installation problem has been resolved.
